Bachman Lake Skatepark

Dallas, TX

After a decade of dedication and collaboration, the City of Dallas and Skateparks for Dallas have unveiled the city’s first in-ground concrete skatepark—a major milestone for the local skateboarding community. Spanning an impressive 45,000 square feet, this expansive park is the result of years of tireless advocacy and vision from local supporters who worked to make it a reality. It stands as a powerful symbol of Dallas’s commitment to skateboarding as a vital and accessible part of its recreational landscape.

Thoughtfully designed to cater to a wide variety of skating styles, the skatepark features a dynamic street section, a flowing snake run, and two distinct bowls. These elements create a space where skaters of all levels—from newcomers to seasoned professionals—can challenge themselves, progress, and express their creativity.

Since its opening, the park has received widespread acclaim from both local and pro skaters. Its high-quality construction, thoughtful design, and sheer scale have quickly made it a standout destination, offering a vibrant hub for the growing skateboarding scene in Dallas.
